When someone visits www.visitdartmoor.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We process your data to enable us to carry out our activities in accordance with our objectives and for our administrative purposes. We use your data to deliver the products and services that you have requested such as our newsletter, brochure, or dependant on consent, any other information that may be of interest to you on our services.

We use MailChimp, a third party marketing platform for communicating our newsletters and special offers. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.

If entering a competition, your data is captured through a third party called SurveyMonkey.

If you have requested a brochure, your details are sent to our distribution centre, a third party company Glide Media. We only send your address and name to ensure your brochure fulfilment.

4. How will we share your data?

We ensure that appropriate data sharing agreements are in place prior to sharing your personal data.

We do not share your data with any other business unless given explicit consent. Where consent is given via Competitions and third party consent, your data will be shared to the said third party as per the conditions of the competition stated.

5. How do we protect your data?

If you complete a competition questionnaire or visitor survey, your personal data is obtained by Survey Monkey and then transferred to the MailChimp Database if consent is applicable. 6. Your rights and preferences

If you no longer wish to receive communications please contact Visit Dartmoor on simon@visitdartmoor.co.uk specifying which communication channels you wish to unsubscribe from, or click on the unsubscribe link in any of Our communications.

• object to specific data uses, as described above
• object to receiving communications and direct marketing.

After consent we retain your personal information for 2 years. After this period, all customer data is anonymised.
