Representing over fifty artists from Bristol to the Scilly Isles. Wildwood pride themselves on good, old- fashioned customer service, friendly approach and expertise.
Wildwood have an extensive range of quality artwork. Stocking a range of styles and subjects from traditional, to post-war investment art, to modern and contemporary fine art in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolour, ink and mixed media. They also have textile art, glass, hand-made designer jewellery, felting and ceramics. Their main focus is Dartmoor, the Southwest and British wildlife From young, emerging artists to established and internationally recognised artists.
Horrabridge is a picturesque ancient village on the western edge of Dartmoor National Park. It is situated in the Walkham Valley on the banks of the River Walkham: a fishing river famous for its salmon. The village’s name may have been taken from the 15th century pack-horse bridge which is the only vehicular route from one side of the village to the other, and featured in the children’s television programme Bagpuss. There are moorland walks from all sides of this lovely village.The gallery is situated in an old stone building in the centre of the village just meters from the River Walkham.Cheri, the owner, and her dog Claude are usually in the gallery on weds, fri and sat.
Dogs, muddy boots and cyclists are welcome. Parking is directly in front of the gallery.
