We strongly believe in the ethos and values of sustainable tourism, which forms the cornerstone of our business strategy. While actively welcoming guests to enjoy this beautiful part of the world, we do so in a way that safeguards the environment and protects it for others to enjoy for many years to come.
Our commitment to sustainability has been recognised by The David Bellamy Award for Conservation, for which we have retained a ‘Gold’ standard for over 20 years.
We’re also an active participant in the Dartmoor Charter for Sustainable Tourism scheme, which aims to encourage all establishments concerned with tourism to pledge to improve their environment and promote appreciation of Dartmoor.
Around the park, you’ll find evidence of our commitment to safeguarding our natural environment.
