Bernard’s Acre is the ideal location for families, walking groups (including DofE and Ten Tors), youth groups, quiet retreats, or church groups in self-catering chalet-style accommodation near the village of Belstone in Devon. Less than ten minutes from the A30, yet at the foot of some of the highest and wildest parts of Dartmoor, Bernard’s Acre has an unrivalled setting.
The property has accommodation for up to 24 people with 6 bedrooms for between two and six people in a mixture of single and bunk beds. Inside there are 7 WC and 6 showers, five as ensuite washrooms, all with heated floors; two large communal rooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with two large gas ovens and a commercial dishwasher. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is accessible, and the front entrance designed for easy wheelchair access.
There is also an option of 3 camping pitches (with power) and a hookup for a campervan.
There is a woodland garden which leads down to an open area with a fire pit, a wood fired pizza oven and an outdoor amphitheatre on the banks of the Taw river.
